Ultimate Barossa Forest to Sky Retreat
Forest to Sky is built around a simple but powerful sequence: first feel the landscape, then see it from above.
Guests begin with a car transfer from Barossa Helicopters to a forest site in the conservation reserve. There, a Beyond Wellness facilitator leads a guided place-based walk through native Barossa scrubland. The pace is unhurried and accessible, with breathwork and sensory prompts woven through the route. The intention is to bring the group into their bodies and into the place before the aerial component begins.
A chef-prepared picnic is served in the forest, using seasonal South Australian produce and allowing time for the morning to settle. This is the pause point: a shared meal, a quiet landscape and enough space for guests to properly arrive.
Then the experience shifts. Barossa Helicopters collects the group for a scenic return flight over the valley, vineyards, ridgelines and villages below. Because the group has already walked, breathed and eaten within the landscape, the view from above carries more weight. It is not only beautiful; it is connected to something they have just physically experienced.
Forest to Sky is ideal for premium visitors, corporate incentive groups, special occasions and travellers looking for a Barossa experience with narrative shape. It moves from grounding to perspective, from forest to flight, from close attention to a wider view.
